Shoulder Tendonitis

Going to continue today talking about shoulder dysfuction. Often times, when our shoulder doesn't move well it results in an overuse syndrome known as tendonitis. It can occur in numerous muscle groups, including the rotator cuff muscles, the bicep and the upper trapezius.

When we have a loss of ROM or strength in our shoulder, often the upper trap or the bicep are very eager to step in and help. Sure, this is good for lifting the gallon of milk into the fridge, but over time the responsibility of those muscles performing their own job and that of another muscle group is too much to handle. The result-pain and tendinitis.

This video shows a great method for improving that shoulder pain, restoring ROM and preparing for functional strengthening. If you think that you may have shoulder tendinitis, shoot us a message and we can schedule a FREE Discovery session to check it out.
